About This Project

Albert Aroztegui, Terrassa (2014)

I was very lucky in this contest, I was the first competitor and I was the WINNER. I had the great honor to win a Claudia’s artwork!

When I look at this little big painting it conveys the same sensation you have when you look at a child’s eyes: a great vitality, a desire and a joy to see the illusion of children when they look at things. The fascination kids have to discover more and more, to see everything, to be always present and pending. When you look at a child you see all that energy and that gives you a special joy. Thanks to Claudia’s painting, I can have that feeling every morning.

Also, the blue – green – turquoise color of the painting transports me to the seashore, where everything is quiet. We seek that precious peace that we have in summer to disconnect and let the problems go away with the waves.

For all of this, I am very excited to say that I am the first winner of the first Claudia’s contest, who surely will not be the last one because she has a gift to paint. Her art has to travel, her paintings must be shared so we can marvel her work.

Besides, and it is something very important, apart from taking an artwork of hers, those who know her a little bit, we take with the pictures part of her vitality and her smile.

Thanks Claudia for sharing your art!
